Procedure B (Dynamic Bracketing) operation screen
The Octane Panel Interface (OPI) simplifies the octane rating process of motor fuels. This powerful software package eliminates computational errors while giving the operator the flexibility to run procedures A, B or C of the ASTM D2699/D2700 methods.
Run methods at your pace, not at the software’s pace. OPI works with the operator to lessen the responsibilities of the operator and to allow them to focus solely on operating the engine. The software takes all the necessary data at the appropriate time. All computations are completed according to the method, and all corrections.

Procedure A (Equilibrium Bracketing) operation screen
The OPI has integrated temperature monitoring with color coded displays to provide quick feedback to the operator that the temperatures are within safe and compliant limits.
The OPI has full calibration capabilities to ensure that results stay as consistent as possible.

Procedure C (Compression Ratio) operation screen
Sample reports are capable within OPI. HTML and text files created by the software detailing octane results, critical test variables (temperature, PRF octane numbers, barometric pressure, etc.), and user information are available upon test completion. These results can be utilized by the user to be applied to custom reports needed for internal company use.
Full diagnostic monitoring is available within the software. Monitor critical engine temperatures to potentially diagnose further issues. Detonation pickup signal monitored (normal and high speed) to diagnose signal issues from capturing the combustion event.
Multiple access levels provide the ability to organize the entire team responsible for octane rating. Lock away calibration procedures so they are not accidentally changed. Create individual profiles to further improve traceability and to improve overall reproducibility among multiple operators.
